Your data
Everything stays on this device, in this browser. Nothing is uploaded. Back up before you clear your browser data.
Pass it on
This is one file. Host it anywhere that serves static pages — Netlify, Cloudflare Pages, GitHub Pages, an S3 bucket, or a folder on your own site. Anyone who opens the link gets their own private log on their own phone.
The clock
Line up with the clockRing on a tidy grid measured from midnight — :00, :15, :30, :45 at 15 minutes; on the hour at 60. Off = count from when you started.
SoundThree beeps, repeating until you answer.
VibrateAndroid and most non-Apple browsers.
NotificationA banner when the tab isn't in front.
Keep the screen awakeStrongly recommended. A sleeping phone can't ring a web page.
Your categories
Keep one category for the thing you'd be embarrassed to see totalled at the end of the week. That's the number that changes behaviour.
Reading this on a phone
iPhone (Safari): tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen, scroll down, tap Add to Home Screen, then Add. Android (Chrome): tap the menu (⋮) at the top right, then Install app. It then opens full screen with no browser bars.
Honest limit: no web page can wake a locked phone. Leave this open with the screen awake and it rings reliably. If you'd rather lock your phone, set a repeating 15-minute alarm in your phone's clock app as the ringer and use this to write the line — every block you missed is queued up waiting when you come back.
